At a time of growing polarization, persistent inequalities and rising hate speech, this 5th Global Forum, From Commitment to Accountability: Change the System, Change the Future, focuses on the critical question: how can governments and institutions move beyond commitments and deliver measurable change? Participants will examine practical solutions, policy innovations and accountability mechanisms to combat all forms of discrimination.

The programme features high-level ministerial and mayoral dialogues, expert panels, policy discussions and interactive sessions exploring issues including intergenerational social, racial and gender justice, structural racism, discrimination in the digital age, racial profiling and the role of media in shaping public discourse.

Discussions will explore how data, law, public policy, technology and community leadership can help break down systemic discrimination and foster more inclusive societies. Breakout sessions will address emerging challenges, including algorithmic bias andonline hate speech.

Previous editions of the Global Forum have been co-organized with and co-hosted by the Republic of Korea (2021), Mexico (2022), Brazil (2023) and Spain (2024).
