87 nominations received in the 2026 Call of UNESCO´s Memory of the World Regional Register for Latin America and the Caribbean

This year, 23 countries are participating, with the following number of nominations: Argentina (10, plus 1 joint nomination with Brazil and Colombia), Belize (1), Bolivia (9), Brazil (18), Chile (2), Colombia (11, plus 1 joint nomination with Argentina), Costa Rica (2), Cuba (2), Dominica (1), Ecuador (6), El Salvador (1), Guadeloupe/France (1), Guatemala (3), Jamaica (1 joint nomination with the United Kingdom and Canada), Mexico (3), Paraguay (2), Peru (5), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (1), Trinidad and Tobago (1), Uruguay (1), and Venezuela (3). 

The nominations will be evaluated during the XXVI Annual Meeting of MoWLAC, which is scheduled to take place around November 2026, on a date and at a venue to be confirmed.
