The world’s best bowlers converged in England for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which concluded with Australia lifting the title at Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 5.

The 10th edition of the Women’s T20 World Cup produced several impactful bowling performances across seven venues, with bowlers adapting to conditions ranging from seam-friendly surfaces to flatter tracks that favoured aggressive batting.

India’s Deepti Sharma recorded the best bowling figures of the tournament with 5/10 against Pakistan at Edgbaston. It was the only five-wicket haul of the 2026 edition and the seventh overall in Women’s T20 World Cup history.

India’s Shree Charani finished as the leading wicket-taker of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 with 14 wickets from five matches. She also recorded the most wickets by an Indian bowler in a single edition of the tournament, surpassing Poonam Yadav’s tally of 10 from 2020.

Australia captain Sophie Molineux finished second on the wicket-takers’ list with 11 wickets from seven matches.
