There are two lacrosse tournaments at LA28: men’s and women’s, with six teams competing in each event.

As hosts, the USA have one quota place in the men’s event and one in the women’s event.

Four places in each event are available through the 2027 World Lacrosse Sixes Championships, and the last remaining spot for each gender will be determined at a final qualifying tournament in March/April 2028.

Only those athletes who respect and comply with the Olympic Charter, the Policy, the World Anti-Doping Code and the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions, the conditions of participation established by the IOC, as well as the rules or policies of World Lacrosse, may participate in the LA28 Olympic Games.
