The Asian Games 2026 cricket qualifiers are scheduled from May 26 to June 8.
Malaysia will host the women’s T20 qualifiers from May 26 to 31, with the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur as the venue for all matches.
Meanwhile, the men’s qualification cricket matches will take place from May 31 to June 8 in Singapore with matches scheduled at the Singapore National Cricket Ground.

The Asian Games 2026 women’s cricket qualifiers feature six teams divided into two groups of three each.
Asian Games 2026 women’s cricket qualifiers teams
- Group A: Hong Kong China, Malaysia, Thailand
- Group B: People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, Nepal
Following round-robin matches, the top two teams from each group will enter the semi-finals. Both finalists and the team that wins the third-place playoff match will qualify for the Asian Games 2026 women’s cricket tournament in Aichi–Nagoya, Japan.
The qualifiers will decide the final three teams for the women’s cricket competition at the Asian Games 2026.
Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have already qualified for the 2026 Asian Games, as automatic entries by virtue of being four of the continent’s full-member ICC nations. Japan qualified as hosts.
The men’s Asian Games 2026 men’s cricket qualifiers feature eight teams split into two groups of four each.

A total of 10 men’s and eight women’s teams compete in separate cricket tournaments at the upcoming Asian Games in Japan. The matches will be played in T20 format at the Korogi Athletic Park in the Aichi prefecture.
The women’s cricket tournament begins on September 17 and the medal matches will be held on the 22nd of the same month. The men’s cricket tournament will start from September 24 and conclude with the medal matches on October 13.
India are the reigning Asian Games cricket champions in both the men’s and women’s divisions, having won the gold medals at Hangzhou 2023.
