Funded by the Government of Norway and implemented by the UNESCO Regional Office for Central Africa, the project focuses on strengthening skills in project management and the management of income-generating activities.

The initiative particularly aims to support the five beneficiary groups in developing sustainable community and ecotourism initiatives, while promoting greater involvement of local communities in the enhancement and preservation of their environment.

This second phase therefore forms part of an ongoing effort to strengthen capacities and promote sustainable entrepreneurship, specifically for the benefit of communities living around Manovo Gounda St Floris National Park, a World Heritage site.
