The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Revolut, the global financial superapp with over 60 million customers worldwide, have launched a strategic partnership to expand digital fundraising opportunities for migration-related initiatives. This collaboration will see IOM featured as a charity partner on Revolut’s global financial platform, offering millions of users an accessible way to support people on the move.

Beginning this month, Revolut users will be able to contribute to IOM’s work directly through the app by making one-off donations, setting up recurring contributions, or opting into spare change roundups. All donations will be processed via Prism the Gift Fund, IOM’s UK-based charitable partner, ensuring that 100 per cent of contributions go directly to IOM.

“This partnership with Revolut is about meeting real needs – helping people access essential services, and opportunities to recover, while strengthening the capacity of communities and systems responding to displacement,” said Amy Pope, IOM Director General.

The partnership aims to harness the reach of digital finance to mobilize additional resources for IOM’s work in areas such as humanitarian assistance, migration governance, and sustainable development. By integrating donation options into everyday financial transactions, the initiative removes barriers to giving and encourages ongoing public participation.

IOM works with governments, partners, and communities to provide life-saving aid, protect rights, and promote solutions that benefit both migrants and host communities. The new funding stream from Revolut users will help sustain these efforts and ensure that resources can be directed where they are most needed.

This collaboration reflects a growing trend of partnerships between humanitarian actors and digital finance platforms, demonstrating how innovation can support global solidarity in addressing migration challenges. IOM looks forward to building on this partnership and exploring further opportunities to connect individuals and institutions with practical ways to support migration-related priorities worldwide.
