The ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027 will run from January 21 to February 6 in Bangladesh and Nepal, with 16 cricket teams competing in 41 matches across four venues.
The Indian cricket team, the defending champion, has been drawn in Group A alongside Ireland, West Indies and co-hosts Nepal. They will start their campaign against the West Indies on January 22, face Nepal on January 24, and complete their group-stage campaign against Ireland on January 26. All three matches will be played at the TU International Cricket Stadium.
India have won both previous editions of the U19 Women’s T20 World Cup. They beat England by seven wickets to win the inaugural tournament in 2023, then defeated South Africa by nine wickets in the 2025 final to retain the title.

U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027 format
Each team will play the other three sides in its group once, with the top three teams progressing to the Super Six. The fourth-placed teams will contest play-off matches.
The Super Six will feature two groups of six. The qualifiers from Groups A and D will form one group, while those from Groups B and C will make up the other.
Teams will carry forward their results against the sides from their original group that also qualify for the Super Six. Each team will then play two opponents from the corresponding group.
The top two teams from each Super Six group will advance to the semi-finals on February 4.
February 5 has been set aside as the reserve day for the semi-finals. The final will be played on February 6, with February 7 designated as the reserve day.
A total of four venues across Bangladesh and Nepal will stage matches at the tournament.
