A total of eight teams have been divided into two groups of four for the 2026 Women’s Asia Cup.
India and Pakistan are both in Group A alongside Hong Kong China and Thailand. The marquee India vs Pakistan clash will take place on September 5.
The Indian women’s cricket team will start their campaign against Thailand on August 30 before facing Hong Kong, China on September 3.

The eight teams have been split into two groups of four with the top two from each group to advance to the semi-finals.
The semi-finals are scheduled for September 10 and 11, with the final to be played on September 13.
India have dominated the Women’s Asia Cup since its inception in 2004 and are the most successful team in the history of the tournament with seven titles. The tournament was played in the ODI format for the first four editions before it switched to T20 in 2012.
India won the first six editions before Bangladesh ended their streak in 2018. Sri Lanka are defending champions after beating India in 2024.
