The 2026 Women’s T20 World Cup is the 10th edition of the 20-over cricket tournament.

Hosts England, inaugural champions in 2009, were the first team to announce their squad, with Nat Sciver-Brunt set to lead the team, while Charlie Dean was named as the vice-captain.

Uncapped 18-year-old Tilly Corteen-Coleman, Issy Wong and Lauren Filer will be representing England in the T20 World Cup for the first time.

Defending champions New Zealand were the next to unveil their T20 World Cup squad with star all-rounder Melie Kerr set to lead the team.

As many as 10 players who featured in New Zealand’s title winning run at the last T20 World Cup are a part of the squad for the upcoming edition of the tournament.

Former Sophie Devine and Lea Tahuhu – both of whom will retire at the completion of the T20 World Cup – are in the squad along with newcomers Nensi Patel and Izzy Sharp.

India, the current ODI World Cup champions, announced their squad, with Harmanpreet Kaur set to lead the team. Smriti Mandhana will be the vice-captain.

Bharti Fulmali, Nandani Sharma, Shree Charani and Kranti Gaud have also earned call-ups to the Indian squad for the first time.
