Judo‘s biggest title of the year is up for grabs as top judoka gather in Baku, Azerbaijan, for the 2026 World Judo Championships from 4-11 October.
Fourteen individual world champions will be crowned across seven men’s and seven women’s weight divisions, before the mixed team competition brings the championships to a close on 11 October.
The challengers include twelve world number ones, 10 defending world champions and five Paris 2024 Olympic champions. Georgia will also return as the reigning mixed team world champions.
