LeBron James will play his 24th NBA season with the Philadelphia 76ers, he announced on Friday (24 July) morning.
The 76ers projected starting lineup now includes point guard Tyrese Maxey, shooting guard VJ Edgecombe, newly-acquired small forward Jaylen Brown and center Joel Embiid.
Maxey is a two-time All-Star, while Brown is a former NBA Finals MVP and Embiid is the 2023 NBA MVP.
James, a four-time champion and three-time Olympic gold medalist, has previously played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers.
