Nigeria secured a 2-0 victory over Algeria on Saturday (10 January) to reach the semi-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Second-half goals from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams secured the win for the Super Eagles in Marrakech. They will now face host nation Morocco on Wednesday (14 January) for a place in Sunday’s final.

“We work a lot and we deserve this victory, but this is just one game. If you want to stay ambitious, you have to work again because we have a big game in a few days. We will continue to work.”
