Olympian Dhiraj Bommadevara will be the sole Indian challenger at the Archery World Cup Final 2026, which will start in Saltillo, Mexico, on Saturday.
The last international archery competition of the season, the Archery World Cup Final will feature 32 of the world’s best archers competing for top honours in the individual men’s and women’s recurve and compound events.

The individual champions from each of the four Archery World Cup stages in Puebla, Shanghai, Antalya and Madrid alongside the highest-ranked archers in the season standings qualified for the Final.
No Indian recurve archers across the men’s and women’s, including four-time Olympian Deepika Kumari qualified for the final. India’s women’s compound archers also failed to qualify for the international season-ending meet.
India won seven medals, including four gold, one silver and two bronze from the four Archery World Cup stages this year. However, Dhiraj Bommadevara won India’s only individual gold.
Part of India’s recurve squad for Asian Games 2026, Dhiraj Bommadevara qualified for the Archery World Cup Final after winning the men’s individual recurve gold at the Stage 3 meet in Antalya.
Bommadevara also won the mixed team gold with Asian Games-bound Kumkum Anil Mohod in Antalya.
The women’s recurve team of Ankita Bhakat, Deepika Kumari and Kumkum Mohod as well as the compound women’s trio of Madhura Dhamangaonkar, Pragati and Jyothi Surekha Vennam were India’s other gold medal winners this year.
Eight archers each will compete for the Archery World Cup Final title across the individual men’s and women’s recurve and compound events.
India’s only medal at the Archery World Cup Final in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China, last year was won by Jyothi Surekha, who secured silver in the women’s compound event.
