Olympic Rings Pasta was crafted to celebrate the Olympic Winter Games, Italian style, paying homage to the renowned hospitality, craftsmanship and passion of the host country. The pasta came in four box designs beautifully illustrated by Italian artist Marianna Tomaselli, showcasing the thrill of winter sports against the backdrop of Italy’s iconic landscapes, and featured a unique shape inspired by the Olympic rings: the global symbol of unity.

The pasta was launched in October 2025 to mark 100 days until Milano Cortina 2026, with a host of Olympic Movement, broadcaster, athlete, media and creator and fan content to highlight the upcoming Italian Winter Games, and inspire people to get ready to come together for all the unforgettable moments of emotion, joy, connection and celebration of human potential.

Olympic Rings Pasta continued to be enjoyed on the road to the Games, before reaching its peak with a “surprise and delight” moment for athletes competing at Milano Cortina 2026, when it was served across the Olympic Village restaurants, connecting to the growing Olympic Village food culture, shared widely by Olympians across social platforms, and enjoyed by fans all around the world.

Olympic Rings Pasta was truly a unique, insightful, fun idea to drive awareness of the Olympic Winter Games in Italy, connect with fans beyond sport, and engage younger audiences where they are. Its success shows we are on the right track when it comes to evolving our brand and engagement strategies to be fit for the future. I am incredibly proud of the team for bringing this to life and excited for what’s next.
