Great Britain’s Romell Glave won the men’s 60m final on Thursday (22 January) at the BAUHAUS-galan Indoor 2026, held at Sätra Friidrottshall in Stockholm, Sweden.
The 2024 European bronze medallist in the 100 metres posted a track record of 6.51 seconds to hold off compatriot Jeremiah Azu, the reigning world indoor champion at 60m. Azu was part of the British team at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 that captured the bronze medal in the men’s 4x100m relay, clocking 6.54 seconds on Thursday.
Reigning world and Olympic 100m silver medallist Kishane Thompson of Jamaica was the third-place finisher at 6.56 seconds.
Another Brit, Jody Smith, was fourth after sprinting to a season’s best 6.58 seconds, while Oman’s Ali Anwar Al-Balushi, the 60m Asian indoor champion, rounded out the top five with a time of 6.60 seconds. His time represents a personal best in the event.
