The world’s best male golfers have gathered at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club for the 154th edition of the Open Championship – one of golf’s four annual majors.
Beginning on Thursday (16 July) and concluding on Sunday (19 July), this four-day masterclass in golf is one of the most anticipated tournaments on the calendar.
Scottie Scheffler – gold medallist at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 – lifted the Claret Jug last year, and will look to do so again this year. But the fairways, roughs and bunkers of England aren’t to be underestimated.
